The 2026 Sandhills District Spring Camporee is designed to be a fun competition for Scouts to assess their knowledge of Scout to First Class Rank requirements. This year’s theme is Search and Rescue, so some events will require knowledge of Wilderness Survival and Search and Rescue merit badge requirements (these requirements will be published in the Leader’s Guide prior to the Camporee). Other events at the Camporee will include a Search and Rescue exposition, chili cook-off, and a campfire program. The Camporee will not only provide Scouts with fun events but also provide opportunities for friendship and fellowship with Scouts and Scouters from across the District and Council.
